The Silk Road Mining Cooperation Forum and Xinjiang International Mining & Equipment Exhibition have been successfully held for 15 sessions, serving as a crucial platform for China's mining development and international industrial capacity cooperation. Each year, natural resources and mining institutions from 25 provinces, municipalities and autonomous regions including Shandong, Henan, Inner Mongolia, Gansu and Qinghai, as well as mining regulatory authorities and enterprise representatives from countries along the route such as Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, participate in the exhibition and conference, attracting more than 30,000 professional visitors.

To actively explore the production practice of "carbon peaking and carbon neutrality" in the mining sector, advance technological innovation in the national strategic mineral resources exploration campaign, accelerate the transformation of Xinjiang's resource advantages represented by minerals into economic advantages, promote the construction of smart mines and the improvement of mine safety, and strengthen resource and industrial capacity cooperation with Central Asian countries, the launching and signing ceremony of the Consensus on the Development of New Quality Productive Forces in the Silk Road Mining Industry will be held during the conference.
